It idles fine, runs great at mid-range rpm (3000-3800), runs great at higher rpm (3800+) occasionally if engine is cool. Once the engine warms up, if you try to maintain an rpm higher than 4000 it starts cutting out. Use the filter wrench to snug up the filter another 1/2 turn or whatever the filters instructions suggest. Never over-tighten a filter. 16. Clean up any split fuel and clear the area of all fumes.

I changed the fuel filter (seperator) and it seemed to go away. Then about 1 1/2 running hours later it was doing it again intermittently at lower rpm 3500 and up.
