WebMar 19, 2024 · By default a fetch () request timeouts at the time set up by the browser. In Chrome, for example, this setting is 300 seconds. That's way longer than a user would expect for a network request to complete. A good approach to network requests is to configure a request timeout of about 8 - 10 seconds. WebOPTIONS --timeout Number of seconds to cache credentials (default: 900). --socket Use to contact a running cache daemon (or start a new cache daemon if one is not started). Defaults to $XDG_CACHE_HOME/git/credential/socket unless ~/.git-credential-cache/ exists in which case ~/.git-credential-cache/socket is used instead.
