Same memory, same model, everything is the same. I spent half a day trying to make it work. His Motherboard continuously wasn't recognizing second slot Ram. Same goes for all connections make sure they are plugged in firmly, make sure both the 4 and 8 pin CPU pins are plugged in especially as that has been the cause of many beginner mistakes.
